The Joy of Dawn

The Joy of Dawn captures the gentle optimism of a new day- the moment the first light spills across the landscape and the world begins to stir.

A small gathering of geese wander through the waking bush, seemingly unaware of the extraordinary world unfolding around them. Layers of blush pink, warm earth and luminous cream sweep across the landscape, while delicate white linework traces the trees like fragments of a half-remembered place.

There is something wonderfully hopeful about dawn. Yesterday has disappeared, the day ahead is still unwritten, and for a brief moment everything feels full of possibility. The Joy of Dawn is a celebration of that feeling- and of the quiet beauty found in simply beginning again.
