Secrets of the Bush

Secrets of the Bush captures the Australian landscape as a place of quiet mystery, where life unfolds in hidden corners and the smallest observer can hold the greatest presence.

A solitary kookaburra rests amongst a landscape alive with sweeping layers of coral, vivid pink and warm earth. Delicate white linework traces native flora through the richly textured paint, as though one world is slowly revealing itself beneath another.

There is a feeling of being watched as much as watching- the sense that the bush has its own stories, rhythms and secrets, carrying on whether we are there to witness them or not. Secrets of the Bush is an invitation to wander deeper, look a little closer, and discover the beauty hiding in plain sight.
